Caltrans is currently widening the Santa Ana (I-5) freeway between Route 91 and the I-605. For the next five years, you’ll see ongoing construction along this seven-mile corridor to improve and construct interchanges, bridges, ramps, soundwalls and frontage roads. Once completed, the I-5 South Corridor Improvement Projects will increase capacity on the I-5 freeway with four lanes plus one HOV lane in each direction.
