Norwalk - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct closures on the Santa Ana Freeway (I-5), the southbound I-5 on-/off-ramps at Rosecrans Avenue, and on the local city street of eastbound and westbound Rosecrans Avenue.  The schedule is: 

N/B I-5 On-ramps Closed- at Artesia, Alondra, and Firestone blvds. 11 p.m. to  4 a.m. 

N/B Full Freeway Closure- from  Valley View Ave. to Carmenita Rd. 11:59 p.m. to 7 a.m. 

Connector Closure-  Westbound State Route 91 to Northbound I-5   11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Sunday, June  15 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. 

• Full Closure (2 of 2 lanes):  Eastbound Rosecrans Ave. at Bloomfield Ave.   

• Full Closure:  southbound I-5 on-ramp and off-ramp at Rosecrans Ave. 

The work involves placement of falsework, the temporary wood structure, for the new Rosecrans Ave. bridge.  

• Full Closure (2 of 2 lanes):  Eastbound Rosecrans Ave. at Bloomfield Ave.   

• Partial Closure (1 of 2 lanes):  Westbound Rosecrans Ave. (No. Firestone Blvd. to Bloomfield). 

• Full Closure: southbound I-5 on-ramps and off-ramps at Rosecrans Ave.

S/B I-5 On-ramps Closed - at Carmenita Road and Alondra Blvd,. 11 p.m. to  4 a.m. 

S/B Full Freeway Closures from  Carmenita Rd to Valley View Ave.,    11:59 p.m. to 4 a.m. 

The work involves falsework removal, the temporary wood structure, for the new Alondra Bridge.
