Closures for I-5 HOV Improvement Project

ARLETA  The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) plans to implement the closures listed below May 26-30, 2015, as part of a project that is constructing carpool lanes on I-5 between SR-170 and SR-118 and a carpool lane connector at the I-5/SR-170 interchange. Closures are subject to change.
Southbound I-5
There will be full freeway closures (southbound only) for striping and installation of loop detectors from 11:59 p.m. to 4 a.m. Signed detours will be provided. Closure limits are as follows:
o May 26: Paxton Street to Osborne Street
o May 27: Paxton Street to Osborne Street
o May 28: Osborne Street to Sheldon Street
o May 29: Osborne Street to Sheldon Street
Northbound I-5
Up to two lanes between Sheldon Street and Paxton Street will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
