LOS ANGELES – As Metrolink’s “Summer of Adventure” winds down, travelers looking for deals can take advantage of the Metrolink $10 Holiday Pass this Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5. Metrolink encourages everyone to take the train during the long holiday weekend to avoid traffic congestion, save on high gas prices and to help the Southern California environment.

The $10 Holiday Pass provides unlimited rides throughout the Metrolink train system. Metrolink’s Saturday schedule will be in effect on Labor Day. More information can be found at metrolinktrains.com/holidaytickets.

On Saturday and Sunday of the holiday weekend, riders can also save with Metrolink’s $10 Weekend Day Pass that provides unlimited rides throughout the system on the day of purchase. As always, kids 17 and under ride free on weekends with a paying adult. More information about the Weekend Day Pass can be found at metrolinktrains.com/weekends.

No Service on the San Bernardino Line Over Labor Day Weekend

Due to a track rehabilitation maintenance project, service along the entire San Bernardino Line between Los Angeles Union Station and the San Bernardino-Downtown Station will be suspended Saturday, Sept. 3 through Monday, Sept. 5.

Also as a result of this closure, trains operating along the Inland Empire-Orange County Line (IEOC Line) will not serve the San Bernardino-Depot or the San Bernardino-Downtown stations. IEOC Line service will only operate as far east as Riverside-Downtown those three days.

There will be no alternate transportation along the San Bernardino Line or between San Bernardino and the Riverside-Downtown Station on the IEOC Line.

All other Metrolink lines will operate a regular schedule on Saturday and Sunday.

Last Chance for $15 Summer Day Pass

Friday, Sept. 2, will be riders’ final opportunity to take advantage of Metrolink’s $15 Summer Day Pass that provides unlimited rides on one weekday of travel throughout the Metrolink system.  More information on the $15 Summer Day Pass can be found at metrolinktrains.com/summer-pass.
