LOS ANGELES - Metrolink's corporate and retail customers will have a convenient, new way to retrieve train passes starting May 15. Metrolink has already begun distributing new Corporate Quick Cards, which are slick 2-by-3 inch cards that easily fit inside a wallet. The cards allow customers to get their train passes from any Metrolink ticket vending machine at their convenience.

Currently, corporate and retail customers must wait until their employer receives the passes via mail from Metrolink and distributes them to the individual customer. In addition to being a rigid process for the customers, this process was costly and time-consuming for Metrolink and the corporate and/or retail distributors. Passengers can view a brief video tutorial on the new Corporate Quick Card here.

Additionally, on May 14 Metrolink will eliminate the sale of the 10-Trip Ticket, in conjunction with a May 2011 Board action. Metrolink will honor these tickets until they are all either used by the passenger or they reach the 45-day expiration date on June 28, whichever comes first. Other ticket options with the Corporate Quick Card include Monthly Passes, 7-Day Passes and Round-Trip Tickets.
