CicLAvia is 10 miles of car-free streets filled with art, performances, music and interactive activities to entertain and engage participants of all ages. Food trucks, restaurants and neighborhood watering holes will be providing food and beverages for the event. The route extends from East Hollywood to Boyle Heights with expanded routes to include new spurs to Boyle Heights, Chinatown and Expo Park.
Wear comfortable walking shoes or bring your bike to explore diverse neighborhoods, visit cultural icons, see unique architecture and dine at food trucks, restaurants and local favorites! The event will occur on October 7 from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. For more information, visit www.ciclavia.org.
Metrolink is adding additional Bike Cars select San Bernardino, Orange County and Antelope Valley Line trains. These Bike Cars are designed to hold 18 bikes each and space will be limited to a first-come, first-serve basis. All other Metrolink coach cars can hold three bicycles. Metrolink is offering a Weekend Pass for only $10. This pass allows a passenger to ride anytime, anywhere systemwide from 7 p.m. on Friday through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday. The Weekend Pass includes free connections to most rail or bus lines throughout Southern California.
How to Purchase the $10 Weekend Pass
The $10 Weekend Pass is available for purchase at all Metrolink Ticket Vending Machines located at the train station platform starting at 7 p.m. on Fridays.
