LA Marathon

Several options are available to watch the LA Marathon.  Once you arrive at Union Station, you can walk to Olvera Street (directly across from Union Station) to watch the participants run the course.  If you want to view the participants coming through the finish line, you can take a Metro bus or the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus to Santa Monica.  View connecting transit information below.

Participant Packet Pick-up

Participants can travel to the Los Angeles Convention Center, West Hall to pick up their race packets. These packets include:
  • Bib number
  • Timing chip
  • Technical shirt
  • Participant bag

Metrolink’s $10 Weekend Day Pass

Use the $10 Weekend Day Pass to get to the LA Marathon!  This pass allows a passenger to ride anytime, anywhere system-wide on Saturday or Sunday. The Weekend Day Pass includes free rail and bus connections to most connecting transit throughout Southern California.  To purchase a $10 Weekend Day Pass, visit any Metrolink Ticket Vending Machine and select the $10 Weekend Day Pass.

Getting to Santa Monica to watch the Finish Line

You can connect to Metro  (free connection applies) at Union Station and arrive at Santa Monica to watch the race end.  Click here for information on Metro for race day.
