Ride Metrolink From Orange County to Dodger Stadium

Metrolink will offer special train service from Oceanside to L.A. Union Station for the May 27 and 28 Angels versus Dodgers baseball game. Trains will return 45 minutes after the game ends. This special train service is made possible by support from the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee.


Meet Former Angels and Dodgers Player Jay Johnstone

Meet former Angels and Dodgers outfielder Jay Johnstone, two-time World Series champion, at the Irvine Transportation Center. He will meet and take pictures with fans and sign autographs before riding the special Metrolink train with fans to the Dodgers game starting at 5:05 p.m. 

Metrolink and Orange County Transportation Authority are partnering to offer fans a chance to win Metrolink Round-Trip Tickets, Angels merchandise and other prizes. Just bring a non-perishable food item donation for Second Food Harvest for a spin on the prize wheel.

Come out and meet former Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda at the Fullerton train station.  The Dodgers street team will bring a pitching inflatable and special tent with a spin wheel, photo opportunities and autograph signings.   Former Dodgers play Matt Luke will also be signing autographs and taking photos with fans.  This event is sponsored by Metrolink, the City of Fullerton and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Take A Photo With Bob Boone Former Angels Catcher

Former Angels catcher Bob Boone will be at the station to meet fans and then ride on the train to L.A. Union Station.  Boone was a four-time All Star during his career with the Philadelphia Phillies and California Angels.  

Fans will have a chance to spin the wheel for Metrolink Round-Trip Tickets, Angels merchandise and other prizes before the train departs at 4:10 p.m.  Just bring a non-perishable food item donation for Second Food Harvest for a spin. This event is sponsored by Metrolink and Orange County Transportation Authority.

Dodger Stadium Express

Metrolink riders can board the Dodger Stadium Express at Bay 3 of the Patsaouras Transit Plaza at L.A. Union Station. 

  • Dodger Stadium Express leaves L.A. Union Station every 10 minutes, starting 90 minutes before game time through the third inning for all home games.
  • Your Dodger ticket is good on game day for a free ride on the Dodger Stadium Express*; otherwise, regular Metro fares apply.
  • You’ll be dropped off inside Dodger Stadium behind Center Field. Return service will be available after the game.
  • Return service on the Dodger Stadium Express runs until 45 minutes after the final out.

Ticket Prices

Ticket prices are $7 round-trip for adults, $6 for senior/disabled, $4 for youth (ages 6-18) and free for children 5 and under with a paying adult (up to three kids).  Tickets can only be purchased on the day of the game. No advanced ticket sales are available.
