Metrolink can take you directly to the Ventura County Fair for “rides, ribbons & rodeos”
Thinking of going to the Ventura County Fair but dreading all that traffic on the 101? No problem. Metrolink’s got you covered. Ride our special Ventura County Fair train and arrive feeling relaxed and ready to go. You won’t have to worry about parking because Metrolink will drop you off at the entrance to the fairgrounds. The special train service is sponsored by the Ventura County Transportation Commission and Seaside Park.
Train Schedule
The special Metrolink trains will only operate on Saturdays, providing three-round trips between Chatsworth and the Fairgrounds Station in Ventura. The schedule is listed below:

How to Purchase Tickets
You can purchase tickets at the train station from the special Fair train ticket sellers on the day of travel up to 45 minutes before the train departs. You can buy advance tickets at the Camarillo, Moorpark and Simi Valley City halls beginning on Monday, July 30, 2012.

NOTE: Children under 5 years old and Metrolink Monthly Pass holders can ride free to the fair. The Weekend Pass will not be accepted on the special fair trains.
