LA Times Festival of Books – April 20-21 2013

Calling all readers! Come celebrate the 18th year of the art of storytelling. Ride Metrolink to spend a fun-filled weekend at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books on April 20 and 21 at the University of Southern California. Meet famous authors and celebrities, see culinary chefs create amazing recipes, catch screenings, listen to live music and enjoy tons of cultural entertainment. Admission is free. Hours:  

Saturday, April 20             10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Sunday, April 21               10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Transportation

Avoid street closures and expensive parking. Take Metrolink to L.A. Union Station, then transfer to the Metro Red or Purple Line. Get off at the 7th Street/Metro Center Station, and go upstairs to connect to the Metro Expo Line. USC is right across from the Expo Park/USC exit.

Metrolink can get you to many attractions with our $10 Weekend Pass. This pass allows a passenger to ride anytime, anywhere systemwide from 7 p.m. on Friday through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday.
