Central American Independence Day Festival & Parade, MacArthur Park
Sept. 22-23, 2012 (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
The Central American Confederation (COFECA) invites you to a festival and parade at MacArthur Park Sept. 22-23 in celebration of Central American Independence. The parade will be held Sept.23 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., starting at the corner of Pico Boulevard and Vermont Avenue and ending at MacArthur Park.

Transportation
With Metrolink’s $10 Weekend Pass, getting to the festivals have never been easier! Relax with family or friends on the train and avoid traffic and parking hassles. Best of all, your pass is valid for a free transfer to most Metro bus or rail lines.
To Olvera Street
Take Metrolink to L.A. Union Station and walk to the front of the station. Olvera Street is directly across the street.
To McArthur Park
Arrive at L.A. Union Station and walk downstairs to the Metro Rail. Take any Metro Red or Purple Line train to the Westlake/McArthur Park Station. It is the fourth stop from L.A. Union Station.
