Pucker up - it’s Lemon Festival time again in Upland! This year’s event is expected to be bigger and better than ever. The 17th Annual Lemon Festival kicks off April 26 and continues through April 28 in beautiful downtown Upland. Festival guests will enjoy great food, carnival rides, games, lemon-flavored items, entertainment, contests, a live Western and gun show, and Lemon Idol. Plus, come see artisans from all parts of California and beyond. The Lemon Is King in Historic Downtown Upland for three days of fun, food and families.
Don’t miss the return of the “Lemon Idol” singing contest, a competition that is always a crowd pleaser. All ages can participate in the American Idol-inspired show. Juniors, teens and adults of all ages will audition and compete head-to-head! The Idol semis and finals will be LIVE April 26 and 27.
See a REAL live Western show. Mosey on over to Western Roundup for a boot stompin' good time as you learn how to be the ultimate cowboy...or cowgirl! Watch The Villains of Yesteryear shoot it out in an Old West gunslinger showdown. Be trained in the art of safety in Wild West demonstrations. Listen to country music as cowgirls sing for your enjoyment. Visit and take pictures with authentic costumed cowhands as they roam the range and mingle with our guests.
If a circus is more your style, come meet Nancy, the circus ringleader, as she takes you on a journey through Circus of Fun. Visit the circus menagerie with the next generation of animal entertainers at Circus of Fun’s petting zoo and pony rides. Learn the skills to juggle like a pro at Circus School. Watch as amazing balloon twisters create artistic hats and intricate sculpture designs before your very eyes. And build your own circus outfits to take home so you will always remember the great experience you had at Circus of Fun!
And if that wasn't enough, don't forget the carnival rides, live music and family fun! The event’s website is uplandlemonfestival.com.
The event this year is being produced by The Learning Centers, the community- focused, philanthropic arm of Fairplex. The Learning Centers at Fairplex will be backed by the resources of the Fairplex team, best known for producing the annual L.A. County Fair, which attracts 1.5 million visitors. A portion of the proceeds from the festival will be donated to programs benefiting the Upland community.
