PLEASE NOTE: Metrolink requires a minimum of (6) six weeks to review and process requests.
If you are requesting the use of station parking areas solely for staging vehicles, crews, equipment, or other production-related activities, please contact the Station Owner listed at the bottom of the respective station page. Metrolink does not own or manage station parking facilities.

ONBOARD FILMING/ PHOTOSHOOT GUIDELINES
- After initial approval, a pre-production walk-through is required so production can understand the station and train equipment.
- Metrolink requires an executed agreement and completed insurance information before filming/ photography activities on board trains or at our Metrolink-owned maintenance facilities.
- Any filming that involves access to equipment or to the railroad right-of-way will require successful advance completion of the Railroad Safety Training course.
- This training ensures that the crew and actors will learn proper procedures to protect themselves against possible track dangers and will be coordinated with you upon permit approval.
- A Right-of-Entry Permit will be required from Metrolink along with (provided by the submitting production company) insurance with monies to cover direct services such as Safety Training, Protective Flagging Services, and Administration Costs.
- This training ensures that the crew and actors will learn proper procedures to protect themselves against possible track dangers and will be coordinated with you upon permit approval.
- Metrolink will need to review the overall film production concept in advance for filming approval.
- All productions require a mandatory safety briefing before work starts. All film crew members must attend.
