Florence Ave. is scheduled to be closed in both directions between Studebaker Rd. and Orr & Day Rd. from 9 p.m. Thursday, August 2 until 5 a.m. Friday, August 3. There is a possibility that Florence Ave. will also be closed from 9 pm. Wednesday, August 1 until 5 a.m. Thursday, August 2. If the Wednesday night closure is also confirmed, a follow-up e-mail alert will be sent from the My5LA.com website and it will be posted on the My5LA Twitter site.

Crews will be paving an unopened portion of the north side of the Florence Ave. Bridge, moving K-rail and re-striping lanes to allow us to add one more lane to the Florence Ave. Bridge. The goal is to have two lanes in each direction open to traffic on Florence Ave. between Studebaker Rd. and Orr & Day Rd. by 5 a.m. Friday, August 3.
