The contractor has added a second night to the closure of the Florence Ave Bridge.

Florence Ave. is scheduled to be closed in both directions between Studebaker Rd. and Orr & Day Rd. from:

• 9 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, August 1) until 6 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday, August 2)
• 9 p.m. Thursday, August 2 until 6 a.m. Friday, August 3.

The overnight closures will permit movement of K-rail and striping and is not expected to involve excessive construction noise. The goal is to have two lanes in each direction open to traffic on Florence Ave. between Studebaker Rd. and Orr & Day Rd. and two additional turn lanes west of the bridge by 5 a.m. Friday, August 3.
