Metrolink to Make Special Stops for LA County Fair in Pomona

Masked Family with New Ticket Machine

Los Angeles – Metrolink’s San Bernardino Line trains will make special stops at the LA County Fair on Saturdays and Sundays beginning this Saturday, May 7 through Sunday, May 29. To make it even more convenient for fair goers, a free shuttle will meet every stopping train and take riders on a short shuttle ride from the train platform to the main Fair entrance.

All San Bernardino Line Saturday and Sunday trains will make the special stop except for early morning trains 351, 352, and 353, which operate prior to the Fair opening. No special stops will be made on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30. The Fairplex platform is located between the Pomona-North and the Covina stations.

Metrolink riders can purchase a Weekend Day Pass for just $10, and with the Kids Ride Free on Weekends promotion, each fare-paying adult can bring up to three children ages 17 and under for free – no tickets required.

Discounted single-day Fair tickets are available for advance purchase at LACountyFair.com/AdvanceSales using the password METROLINK2022.

Discounted fair admission prices using the Metrolink code are $13 for adults and $8 for children compared to $20 and $12 respectively when purchasing through the online ticket portal. A $5 Passport to Savings coupon book offer is also available that includes more than $1,000 in value and a free weekday fair ticket so fair goers can return to the fair during the week.

More information about Metrolink’s service to the LA County Fair can be found at metrolinktrains.com/lacf.

The LA County Fair additional stop is part of Metrolink’s Summer of Adventure initiative, which runs from May through August and will share discounted fare options, ideas for enjoyable getaway destinations, and fun surprises for riders.
