The Mission was established in 1776, and is considered to be the birthplace of Orange County. Mission San Juan Capistrano offers a very unique visitor experience, from self-guided audio tours to hands on exhibits where visitors can make adobe-bricks.

Los Rios Historic District

The Los Rios Historic District lines both sides of Los Rios Street between Del Obispo and Mission Streets. The Los Rios District is home to one of the oldest continuing neighborhoods in Orange County, and has adobe homes that were built in 1794.

Zoomars is a one of a kind petting zoo and has welcomed more than three million visitors in the past 30 years. There are animals of all types to pet and enjoy such as, potbellied pigs, sheep, llamas and cows. You can feed donkeys and watch the emu. Once you get your fill of fun with some furry friends, ride the mini-train, take a pony ride, or mine for gold at Miner’s Gulch.
