Closures for I-5 HOV Improvement Project (Magnolia Blvd. to SR-134)

BURBANK  The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will implement the closures listed below during the week of August 17-21, 2015, for bridge work and on-ramp construction. The operation is part of a project that is constructing carpool lanes on I-5 between SR-134 and Magnolia Boulevard.
Daytime Street Closures: Intermittent lanes closures on Western Avenue and Alameda Avenue under I-5. The streets will remain open to traffic.
Daytime Ramp Closures: Intermittent closures of the Western Avenue and Alameda Avenue on- and off-ramps.
For the safety of the construction crew and motorists, please be work zone alert, slow for the cone zone, and move over one lane where possible.
