Metrolink Print Tickets at Home

A same day travel One-Way ticket(s) can be purchased online and printed at home. Also, there is an option to forward the ticket(s) to your Metrolink Mobile App Wallet instead of printing at home. Print at Home tickets must be used on the date of purchase. Advance purchase is not available.  BUY TICKETS NOW

Once you purchase your one-way ticket, the PDF will be available for you in your "Ticket Receipts." Also, you can now purchase one-way tickets online for a friend, and send them the PDF to ride!

Corporate QuickCard Riders

Riders who use the Corporate QuickCard should continue to use paper tickets from Metrolink's ticket vending machines.

Metrolink Print at Home Portal is not compatible with the Corporate Partner Program at this time.

Print at Home Frequently Asked Questions

Print at Home is a new online service for Metrolink customers that allows you to purchase and print tickets at tickets.metrolinktrains.com. Print at Home tickets are available only for One-way (single use) trips. The ticket must be presented to Fare Enforcement personnel upon request.

  • No waiting in lines at ticket vending machines.
  • Ability to buy Print at Home tickets and email to other travelers.

Users are encouraged to use any of the following internet browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Safari, or Microsoft Edge. Microsoft Internet Explorer is not supported.

Once the ticket is purchased online, simply click on “Download PDF ticket.”  Once you open the PDF file, print the ticket, and bring it with you when traveling. The ticket must be presented to Fare Enforcement personnel upon request. Note that an expired ticket will not be available for download or reprint. Electronic copies of tickets are not valid. If you are interested in electronic tickets, please use our Metrolink Mobile App.

 

One-way Print at Home tickets can only be used on Metrolink trains. Print at Home tickets do not include transfers to other transportation agency services. If you require transfer privileges, please use traditional Metrolink tickets or e-tickets purchased through the Metrolink Mobile App.

No. Print at Home tickets do not provide transfers to the Metrorail system or any other transit agency service.   If you require transfer privileges, please use traditional Metrolink tickets or e-tickets purchased through the Metrolink Mobile App.

Unlike Metrolink Mobile App tickets, Print at Home tickets do not need to be activated. However, you must print your ticket prior to boarding the train. Tickets are only valid on the day of purchase. Electronic copies of tickets are not valid.

No. A separate one-way Print at Home ticket will be required for each leg of a same-day journey.

No. You can only use your ticket for the origin and destination purchased.

Fare Enforcement personnel will validate your tickets visually and by scanning the printed barcode to prevent fraud.

It is the riders’ responsibility to print and ensure the ticket is in readable and scannable condition prior to boarding the train. All sales are final, non-refundable, and non-replaceable.

No. Once your one-way ticket is purchased, you cannot make any changes or cancellations. All sales are final, non-refundable, and non-replaceable.

Whoever holds a valid and non-used printed PDF ticket can use the ticket. However, the same ticket can be used only once. 

Please destroy and discard the printed ticket upon completing your one-way trip.

No. Print at Home tickets cannot be pushed to the Metrolink Mobile App. The intention and purpose of Print at Home is to purchase and print via a computer/printer. Riders do have the ability to purchase mobile tickets on the online portal and push to their existing Mobile App wallet. These “push-to-mobile” tickets work the same as a mobile ticket purchased directly from the Metrolink Mobile App.

Yes. You can purchase multiple One-Way tickets, and each will need to be printed individually. All passengers are required to have valid fare while on board the train.

Tickets are valid for the date they are purchased only; there are no advanced ticket purchases available for this feature.

You can purchase and print up to 14 Print at Home tickets in a single transaction. More than 14 tickets qualifies for group trips and discounts which are not eligible for Print at Home.

Receipts will be automatically emailed to the email address associated with the Print at Home account.  You can also view a receipt by clicking “My Ticket Receipts” button located on the top right corner of the website. Receipts cannot be used for validation and will not be accepted as valid fare.

One-way Print at Home tickets expire 3 hours from purchase

All payment communications are fully encrypted via SSL, any sensitive data is highly encrypted, and systems are constantly monitored for security vulnerabilities to protect our customers personal information.
